How a typical ARLLS module is constructed
1. Online lesson
Learners begin with an online lesson that they can complete at their own pace. This lesson introduces key concepts and leadership principles through videos, interactive quizzes, and reading materials, allowing learners to revisit the content anytime.
2. Experiential activity
Next, learners participate in an experiential activity, where they apply what they’ve learned to real-life scenarios. These activities, often conducted in teams, help young leaders learn from their own experiences and those of their peers.
3. Facilitated workshop
In a live workshop led by trained facilitators, learners engage in group discussions, practice communication and problem-solving skills, and tackle leadership challenges. The workshop encourages collaboration and reinforces learning through hands-on exercises.
4. Individual reflection
After the workshop, learners are encouraged to reflect on their experiences. This reflection phase is critical to internalising the leadership concepts and understanding how they can apply them in future situations.
