From Beacon to ARLLS

ARLLS (All-Round Leadership Learning System) was born from a simple vision: to nurture the next generation of changemakers. Originally part of the prestigious Beacon Changemakers, a programme that identifies high-potential young leaders from developing countries and provides them access to world-class education in the UK, ARLLS grew into a standalone initiative. Recognising the need to extend this transformative leadership training beyond Beacon Scholars, ARLLS was launched to empower a wider audience of young people.

At the heart of ARLLS is a clear mission: to unearth the leadership potential within every young person. Through an innovative and interactive curriculum, ARLLS builds essential skills, boosts confidence, and empowers learners to become the leaders of tomorrow. By offering practical, real-world experiences, we equip young people with the knowledge and capabilities they need to thrive in their future careers, communities, and personal lives – creating a generation of ethical and forward-thinking leaders.

A decade of leadership impact

With over 15 years of experience in youth leadership development, ARLLS has evolved into a comprehensive programme that prepares learners to lead with integrity, innovation, and purpose. Our experiential approach not only helps them develop critical leadership skills but also instils a sense of responsibility and vision for the future. As a not-for-profit, ARLLS reinvests all of its success into Beacon Changemakers, creating a sustainable cycle of leadership development and positive social impact.
